A Melodic Daydream is Lnz Schillings expressive, pop-flavored vocals coupled with Chris Newtons indie and classic rock inspired guitar sounds. It was through a chance meeting that Lnz and Chris became friends and began the song writing process. They began performing soon after their initial collaboration; first starting in local coffee houses, then moving on to larger venues. After they recorded their first demo, a Melodic Daydream won a national songwriting competition, which encouraged them to go into the studio to produce their first full length album. While recording in summer 2005, a Melodic Daydream played over fifty shows, showing a professionalism and strong work ethic toward promoting their unique sound. It is because of that dedication that a Melodic Daydream has already built a local and regional following. They are expanding beyond their current regional market through their live shows and street teams, and are establishing a national audience through aggressive internet and radio promotions. With their eclectic mix of college rock, classic rock, adult contemporary pop and ambient electronica, a Melodic Daydream is sure to appeal to a wide range of musical palates.
